I am so excited to guide you through this truly transformative program that will teach you how to move, nourish and live in alignment with your menstrual cycle. Today is for embracing gentle movement and self-care with this Pilates stretch and sculpt workout, designed to soothe period cramps and nurture your body on day 1 of your cycle. This class is the perfect class for day 1 of your menstrual phase as we focus on stretches to open the hips and release tightness in the lower back, glutes and lower abs. We also incorporate some gentle twists to help reduce bloating and fluid retention. Such a beautiful way to slow down, tune into your body and give back to yourself during this phase of your cycle.
CYCLE TIP: If your period is less than 5 days, and you’re feeling energised, you may wish to jump ahead to the follicular phase before finishing all the workouts in this section.
